| Description | This course will raise awareness about the many issues related to making and keeping playground safe for children including supervising children, choosing age-appropriate equipment, ensuring safe surfacing, understanding proper layout of equipment, maintaining the playground, and identifying and resolving playground hazards. Information that is required by the Standards for Licensed Child Day Centers and the Minimum Standards for Licensed Family Day Homes on playground safety will be included.
